“As a party faithful and because I know we are the most popular party to beat in Delta State, I am a100 percent hopefu l that we would win majority of the House of Assembly and by the special grace of God the governorship seat of Delta State.
“Deltans should expect a new dawn, this election is going to change the status quo of our social development and agdnder as a state, any of the parties that win will know that they have to work harder to be able to rule against next elections in 2023.
At Ughelli North Ward 1/5 Unit 11 &12, Delta Central Chairman of the PDP, Fred Majemite said, “The process is peaceful and the people came their large numbers to cast their votes.
“The process has been peaceful, the people have turned out massively to vote, what happened in the last election would not happen again.
“This time around they are ensuring that their votes count, that is the reason they are out in this large numbers because, they know that what they voted for is not what they got and this time around they don’t want to make mistakes, so they are out to protect their vote.
“Delta state is PDP and PDP is Delta state, we are not expecting any upset because the governor has done wonderfully well, If its not broken you don’t fix it.
“You don’t change what is good.we are happy with the governor, he has kept his campaign promises, so we must allow him to continue where he stopped, we are saying there is no vacancy now” He said.
Leader of the All Progrssives Congress, APC in Delta State, Olorogun O’tega Emerhor in his speech said, “We started very early, we didn’t have logistics problem this time around as far as this ward is concern.
“I have casted my vote, this time around the card reader was quick, I can see visible improvement and excitement everywhere, its a peace full exercise as far as this ward is concern, and we also hope to get results quickly as far as the exercise is over.
“We belong to a particular political party and its our expections, that we would win”. Emerhor reiterated.

“If there’s thugery activity, I don’t think it would be hidden, thugery is not done in the spirit neither in the secret, you have seen this is a voting unit and there are other voting units across the state, but I know there is no thugery unit in Ewrehni.
“My message to Deltain’s is that they should vote for APC, APC has done well for Evwreni as a kingdom for Ughelli as a local government, Delta as a state and across Niger Delta region, we are expecting to win massively in our ward and across Delta state”.
Also at Evwreni, in Member representing Ughelli North constituency II, Samuel Mariere said, “Election here so far has been a peaceful process, the people are allowed to vote, the security is okay and the people are happy. By the grace of God, the will of God will prevail.
“The intention of a man is as complex as the content of his digestion, you can’t really say what a voter will vote, but its our sincere believe that as far as this unit is concern, PDP is strong here and I believe we will give a good show of ourselves and by the grace of God we will win. We have done well as a people, as a community and as a government”.He said.
